We will be having a MINI EXHIBITION soon!

Dx2 managed to talk to one of his contact and she is willing to let us have a room of hers and convert it into a GALLERY! Hhahaa... Nothing too big a scale and definitely not @ prime location like Orchard Road or downtown area! Hehee... at least another step taken to build our ComixKingdom! Hurray!! We gotta start planning and hope this brave step we have taken will be a successful one :)

His Name is... PERSEVERANCE!

Don't really know why... I have this craving for Chocolate these days! I know i need to control my diet cos the waistline is really disappearing! Grrr~~~~~ Can see but CANNOT TOUCH!

Beckoning Cat = Fortune Cat = ME???

We were hunting for a birthday present for Dx2's friend and saw this in a gift shop! So cute!! Hahaha... I was trying to act like one and Dx2 said I look a bit like it! Hahaa... We both burst into non-stop laughter right on the spot! hahahahaa

"BABY" COMMUNITY

Our group seems to be entering another lifestages... Gone were the days where we received 'loads' of 'RED BOMBS' (Wedding invitations). Now, friends around us are starting to get Pregnant! CY's Future Working Attire???

Ever since CY changed her job, she has been working from home 2 out of 5 working days. As their office will be moved to new location soon, she is not sure whether will there be any fixed desk assigned to her. We were joking one day on msn that if she needs to work from home everyday in future, she may lose touch with the working fashion as her official working wear will be home wear! Hehehe... may be following her mummy's style of the matching fruit fabric attire! hehehe

What a BRILLIANT IDEA!

This is really a classic case! CY's mummy got this idea after reading a comic book! She wanted to prevent sore feet from wearing an "unseasoned" pair of shoes. Couldn't find any candles at home to wax the shoes and....she used a bar of soap as a replacement! She didn't expect rain to pour when she was out! What to expect next?? Soap foam forming when she was walking home in the rain! Hahahaa! Well-done Aunty!

Tough Muscles or just Fats???

Dx2 has not been well these days and he has been coughing like mad. Everytime he cough, he will assert some pressure to his stomach hence...toning up his tummy within these two weeks! Really six pack or just... Fats... huh... We will know after he recover. Hope you will have a speedy recovery Dx2!

Semi-D to Bungalow = Loneliness (No Joke!)

Today is the official last working day for my 'neighbour' in Starcom. Her replacement has not been found so... I will be 'upgraded' from Semi-D working desk to 'Bungalow' effective next week. Will miss her presence and ALL THE BEST TO YOU AILIN! :)

One Size Fits All? I'm Afraid NOT!

My best friend's mummy very classic man... She bought some FREE SIZE disposable undies for my friend (which we usually bring for our travel trips), thinking that she has really gotten a very good deal for her daughter. Man... Guess what? Instead of ladies undies, she bought the underwear for MAN! Aiyo~~~ Win liao lor! Hahaa

A Matter of Perspective!

One of our weekend Art class students showed us this 'trick'! Huh... very 'creative' huh... Our S$10 note have a 'facial expression! Just a matter of seeing it from diff perspectives. This works on S$2 note too! As long as there is this face on the note! (huh... I think this also works on Vietnamese Dong too! haha) Try this out and see for yourself ya :)

Misleading Toilet Sign or I'm 'Sua-Ku'??

Hehehe... I have not been to Lido cinema for donkey years! Yesterday went there with CY and Dx2 to catch the movie, Hancock. As usual, before show starts, we went for our 'toilet break'.. Hehe... I'm the 'Sua-Ku' one who are not familiar with Lido's toilet direction and causes this joke. Huh... I still wonder why they have the draw the arrow to Gent downwards!

Save the Earth! It is their MISSION!

There was a radio event last Sunday, collecting any old stuff that some may want to donate. Dx2 packed some of his old clothings and bags and his Daddy drove us to the location in his van. WOW~~~ when the van reached the station, the volunteers 'attacked' us from all directions! hahahaa... One opened the door from Dx2's side, two from my side and two attempted to open from the rear door! Hehehe...Misleading man... cos when they saw VAN coming, they thought there were lots of stuff to be donated! Hehee... We ended up donating only 5 bags of stuff...Hehe... Just our small little effort to save the earth!

"SEATS ATTACK!"

So 'unglam' to fight for seat with others! Not a 'PROUD' Winner in this case

Pamphlets Distributor - Not An Easy Job!

While walking in the underpass towards the MRT station this morning, I saw a middle-aged man distributing pamphlets aggressively to the passerby. Huh... I can say he is 'Creative' but a bit overly 'Creative', making almost everyone shunning away from him! Huh....I don't really understand why he sings "One little Two little Three little Indian..." while distributing... Maybe to catch attention but seriously, i think it has kind of 'back-fired' lor. WHAT'S WRONG WITH HIM!!???

What Causes the 'JAM'??? - Err....Oops!

Giving The New Driver A Chance

GM in our co. has just gotten his driving licence! Hehee..Tho I do have confident in his driving skills since he has been driving to work almost everyday for the past 2-3 months...but.... BETTER BE SAFE THAN SORRY, right? :P Hahaha

Language Puzzle?? :P

My colleague shared with me this joke about her daughter "brilliant" language capability. Hahaha...
It is common to find Singaporeans using a mixture of English and Mandarin when communicating. This one is really too extreme to make right sense out of it :) But a cute one tho :)

IRRESISTABLE TEMPTATION!

Dx2 Great Act of TEMPTATION!

My New Tools to Build my COMIX-EMPIRE!

Ever since i started the blogsite, i have been using either Dx2's bro scanner or office scanner to build my ComixEmpire. Hhehee... Now... I'VE ORDERED A NEW SCANNER FOR MYSELF!!! Hehhee... Err... Cheapo me managed to get an extremely good deal cos my best friend is now working in HP! Bravo CY! Now I'm looking forward to get this 'baby' in a few weeks time :)

'Semi-D' vs 'Bungalow' vs 'Villa'

My 'work-neighbour' has resigned and her last day will be next week. Don't think co. have found her replacement yet so i think her seat will be vacant for quite some time... Just let my 'opposite neighbour'... We were joking that I will be 'upgrading' my workplace from a 'Semi-D' to 'Bungalow' soon! The ultimate is that my opposite neighbour cracked a joke saying that if she resigns, I can have a further 'upgrade' to 'VILLA'! Man... I don't want lah~~~ Sometime living in a BIG house = LONELINESS... Conclusion - I still prefer the 'SEMI-D' with a good neighbour! I'm going to miss her presence after next week. All the best neighbour!

UNIQUELY JEFF - Joke # 4

Ah Boy Jeff is now based in Shanghai but his joke continues... Hhaahaha... I was on MSN with him yesterday and he shared with me a joke he has 'created' in Shanghai. Ah Boy was looking for an apartment in Shanghai and decided to call up a property agent. He wanted to ask how many living rooms are there in the apartment... Instead of saying 'Ke Ting' (客厅), he thot 客厅 = 'Chu Fang' (厨房 - which is actually referring to Kitchen) and he pronounced it as 'Ru Fang' which sounded like 乳房 = Breasts! The agent got a shocked man! Hahaha

FairField Methodist FUNFAIR

Just wanna say... "THANK YOU Dx2!!!" What an experience we have... Hahaha... Like two 'Obasan's going for the Funfair!!! Aiyo~~~ :P

Just not the right moment...

This happened last weekend when the gang of us went to Yishun Dam just to chill. We were chatting happily, enjoying the peaceful night @ the dam... Suddenly! "Poooooooo~~~~"! Aiyo! Dx2!!! You have disrupted the peaceful night with your FART!!! Hahhaa

Anymore Katsu-Don for us? No Thank You

This is definitely NOT something Dx2 and I would want to remember... We went to Sumo House (Jap Restaurant) with our best pal last Sat and guess what? A kid vomitted at his seat, which is just behind me! Tho I did not 'kena' from him but one look at his mess is definitely capable to create an unforgettable sight! Errr... when the waitress served us our Katsu-Don, the look of it really reminds us of the mess..... Ewwwww~~~ How am I going to enjoy my Katsu-don in future???!!! :(

Danger Zone!

Where is My Waist??

Another Language Joke in Starcom

English Speaking New-Generation

Starcom Super Bowler!

Proud to Receive LONG-SERVICE Award??

5 Years Long-Service Award - A Photo frame!
- Everyone laughed when they get to know that Starcom 5 Years Long Service Award is just a Photo Frame with a logo engraved on it! Man... Very 'useful' hor...
- I received mine 3 years ago... Guess what? The frame is still lying in the box untouched! The box is now in my shelf collecting dust! Aiyo... The co. 'Employee Insights' fail big time leh~~~ We dun need this lor!

10 Years Long-Service Award - A Mont Blanc Pen! (errr...)
- Wah~~~~ A "Mont Blanc Pen" wor... Not too bad huh...
- WAIT! Got a Starcom Logo one ok... Aiyo, no value liao lor. Cannot auction it off, cannot give away as gift!
- Am i going to get this pen in another 2 years time?? I hope not lor...
- Having someone to receive a 10 years award in Starcom is really like a 'miracle'! Accompanied with the applauses are the questions in peoples' mind... "Aiyo, how come he/she can ta-han for so long in the agency har?" Proud? Err... i don't think so lor...more pai sei than proud...

Starcom Loyalist??

Yesterday was Starcom Monthly Team Bonding Day. There was a bowling session organised and we have been told to put on the STARCOM T-SHIRT! The event will only start late afternoon so I brought the polo-T with me instead of wearing it to work (I did not wanna wear this 'or-bit cha-cha' polo-T, travelling in the train!) To my surprise, a couple of our colleagues wore it to work! Are they the Starcom 'loyalists'? Haha... Far from it! They wore it to work just that they do not wanna wash extra clothing! Hahaa... What a typical 'ma-ma' reply :P

The 'Mouses' Are Out Playing :)

UNIQUELY JEFF - Joke # 3

Ah boy bought himself a seal when he visited China. Proudly he said to me that he feels like an officer when using it. Instead of using "官员" (officer), he said "官材"! (Which sounded like "棺材" (COFFIN!!!)) Oh my god~~~~ CANNOT MAKE IT!!!

UNIQUELY JEFF - Joke # 2
