Mommy's 60th Birthday!

Close Escape!

Dx2 spotted some ants crawling near the coffee table @ our living room. He wanted to bring out a mop to clean up the place...
When he came back with a mop, all the ants were gone! Strange....... Dx2 was wondering when his dad said to him, "I've already informed the ants to run for their lives!"
Dx2's dad said again... "Amitābha 阿彌陀佛"

ANTS @ Work!

Spotted a small piece of moving 'Bak Kua' (roasted pork slice) right outside our bedroom door!!! A mini piece moved by a troupe of ants!!!! Wonder how long it has took them to bring it that far! Salute to them man! The Power of Hunger!

屁王! (KING OF FART)

Dx2 gave out a loud fart in front of me while we were watching TV the other day. This fellow still got the cheek to smile back and said "臭屁不响,响屁不臭" (Smelly fart won't be loud, loud fart won't be smelly) I wanna faint lor~~~~~

Korean Drama Marathon INTERVAL

For the past few days (or weeks), we have been watching Korean Drama at home. My MIL's colleague lend her the stack of VCDs. Watching TV is really very tiring i must say. Thank god the drama marathon is finally over! Phew~~~

Consumers' Expectation Unfulfilled

Had lunch with Dx2's parents last Sunday. My MIL is quite particular in food. She ordered porridge from a stall and the standard did not meet her expectation. She had a few spoonful and...decided to 'fight' for her consumer rights! Next thing you know, she went up to the stall and told them off. Wah..... Hungry woman is an angry woman :P

Low Tolerance Level

I was just walking behind an indian lady the other day in Raffles MRT station. As the platform was kind of crowded then, she has accidentally stepped onto the toe of a lady who was sitting on the waiting bench. A loud "OUCH" was what we hear next and everyone just turned and look into their direction. The indian lady apologized and walked away... Those sharp pair of eyes still follow... Huh... wonder why tolerance level of the lady is so low.... Can't help it but to roll my eyes

A dinner date with a gang of friends last sat. We drove to Geylang just to eat the dim sum for dinner and of cos DURIANS! The durian selling uncle kept promoting 'Mao Shan Wang' to us, supposed to be the KING of DURIANS! Not too bad but kind of ex. We paid S$36 for that one durian. Ordered two diff types, paying S$60 for two durians. Frankly, moi can't really differentiate the 'KING' with any other 'Slaves'... to me, the 3 for S$20 types of durians is good enough! Hahaahaha

Korean Drama Marathon...

Cross Border 4D!

We've got a shocked when my MIL asked us to help her to check Malaysia 4D results online! Hahaa... Her passion towards 4D has crossed the causeway to our neighbouring country! Hahaa... Hope she will striked one day

Malaysia Truly Asia (Part 2) - Malacca (Dec 2009)

Not a very well-planned decision to go Malacca. We just feel like going and off we went, getting the coach tickets only when we reached Larkin (JB bus station). Reached Malacca in the afternoon, took a public bus to the main town and then started looking for accomodation. Set on one guesthouse and then we spent the rest of 3 days in Malacca rest and relax! Hahaha... Not bad! Dx2 and I had a great time simply just 'nuar' in Malacca town. Nice break! :)

Malaysia Truly Asia (Part 1) - Genting Highland (Dec 2009)

1st road trip with our usual gang of friends to Genting Highland. Very unique experience for us cos 1st time we went on a trip with XL and his family (3 boys+Preg wife). We drove in to Malaysia in two cars and I'm seated in XL's car with Dx2+ XL's two boys (aged 9 and 3). Haha...what an experience 'baby-sitting' in the car. If you ask me if kids are cute? Huh.... i think they are cuter when they are sleeping! Hahaha

My Cooking Lesson with Mother-In-Law

My mother-in-law seldom cook at home. All of us usually eat out in most days as we are all working. For some reasons, my mother-in-law was in the mood to cook at home last weekend! Aiya, how can i just sit there without offering my 'help'. Haha... to be a 'good daughter-in-law', i offered my help as an 'assistant'! Haha... score point mah!!! Haha Not bad of an experience. I did learn something from her but dun think i love cooking yet! Haha

Business Trip to HK (13-16 Dec 09)

Went on a business trip in mid Dec 09. It was a research offsite held in HK. I had a great time catching up with colleagues in Greater China region and...... not forgetting the great shopping experience in HK!
